The dates have been confirmed - 30th of April 2013 I'll be flying over to spend an evening at Reading Frenzy BookShop (which is the coolest bookshop I've ever seen) with Heather Savage and Sheri Olson. Having isolated the Dionysus gene, he decided to start society anew by manipulating Human DNA to ensure all their offspring would be born Gay/Lesbian. Thus creating a society where Gay/Lesbian is the norm… to be straight labels you an Opposite and makes you an Outkast.

~ Nature Versus Nurture ~

Some 200 years later Dr. Smith’s descendants have maintained control of the Government that rules society. House Gaeland rules their lands, as well as the other 6 countries that survived GWI. Twins, Aiya and Aiyan, are next in line to rule alongside their soon to be wife and husband. There is, however, a growing anomaly; one that threatens to unravel over 200 years of progress. This anomaly is known as Opposites.

A bit about the author:

A military brat born and raised at Ft. Benning Georgia; Smith is an avid reader, reviewer and writer. She now calls Texas home from her small town on the outskirts of the DFW Metroplex. Most days you can find her curled up with her kindle and a good book alongside a glass of something aged and red or a steaming cup of coffee!

At 42 years young, she’s decided to enter the next phase of her life by adding the title of “author” to her list of accomplishments that includes single mom of three disturbingly outspoken and decidedly different kids, one of which is Autistic. Her two eldest kids and gay best friend were the inspiration for her upcoming new release, Opposites.

 

Rise of the Dead

Just a small post in celebration to my finally being able to squirm out of my writing block and explore the world of My Demonic Ghost Book Three. The more and more I try to see the world through their eyes the more I feel their struggles and the more their happiness is able to pick me up off my feet. There's so much frustrated love and passion to explore that at times I find myself leaning away from the keyboard just to catch my breath. 

Lock and Rachael are growing stronger and stronger, I'm unable to keep them silent anymore. The spirits are uprising, the demons are cracking the surface to our earth and they refuse to be ignored. 

And so I start the ending of their story...

The green eyed monster is following you.

 

Mechanical Breath - Miracle Rain

 Eli comes from a dead planet so he has never seen plantation or wild life, he has never felt the chill of snow, the pattering of rain or the soft caress of sunshine. There is no beauty where he comes from. He lives in a society that deems the human body weak and useless, meaning they actually idolise machines because of the robot’s capability to go beyond the human body limitation. Eli does not see it as an improvement, but he sees it as a horrible loss of the natural human body.


So, when he finally feels the fingertips of rain fall down on him he is overwhelmed and brought to tears...

Wrath resides in the barren lands of spitting volcanoes and harsh pelting heat. The demon remains nailed to the rock embedded deep into the core of the most ferocious volcano within the spiritual cosmic.

Do not approach this sin ever, as hell has no fury as a woman scorned

This is the final piece of the deadly seven sins collection. A huge thank you to the ever so brilliant, selfless and creative Christin Zakh and her amazing talents when making these creatures. I am speechless, finally able to see this demons transform from mere words on a page into collages of colour and emotion. Christin has worked very hard and spent a lot of time and energy on every piece in the collection, helping me launch the book My Demonic Ghost into story that everyone can enjoy.

Another brilliant master piece from the lovely and extremely talented Laverinne.

Here is a paragraph from Laverinne's interpretation of the characters from Book Two.

Laverinne: I draw betrayal is hugging the Reaper while her hand is chained, and the reaper is holding the chain like she's his prisoner. I want to make some ironic that, although she's chained and somehow she's hunted by the reaper, but they love each other,  i draw her hugging the reaper and the reaper is put her in his lap and hugging her waist with his left hand..^^. and i draw them touching each other, (that's different from Rachael and lock pure love) to show that their love is more adult..

She is absolutely fantastic, and it's obvious I don't need to tell you to check out her page because you can see for yourself how amazing she is.

Happy New Year & Baby Pictures

Sorry for my absence, I was swept away to the sunny land of Queensland where I spent most of my time lounging by the pool and trying to avoid sun burn. (Which I failed... horribly). 

But now I'm back, it's currently 3:09 AM in the morning and I can't seem to step away from the computer. So, while I am here wasting away precious sleeping time I may as well catch you up on some of the games that's been happening over at Bookend 2 Bookend.
